Indian Motorcycles: Project Scout

TheRebelOur local Indian Dealer (Headingley Sport Shop), a long time supporter of the CMMG, is involved in a world-wide competition to build a custom Indian Scout. Indian Motorcycle dealers around the world are showcasing their passion for the brand and their team’s talent by competing in Project Scout. Project Scout fan voting is open January 18th – February 19th, 2016.

Headingly Sport Shop’s custom Scout is called The Rebel and you can vote for this beauty here. Be sure to check out all the entries as there are some seriously sweet rides.

My name is Mitch Ruth and I have dedicated this project scout build to my grandfather John Killbery. He Started Headingley Sport Shop in 1969 and built it with hours of hard work and dedication. When I was about 11 I started worked with him in the back where he taught me the fundamentals of mechanics and engineering which lead me to a diploma in mechanical engineering technology. He passed away in November at the age of 84 and this Scout build would have been right up his alley which is why I’ve dedicated this build to him. Building a Legend, In Memory of a Legend!
